The DigiScope EDB management tool is in Try-Before-You-Buy DEMO MODE until a full license has been purchased and installed. Try-Before-You-Buy DEMO MODE provides the following capabilities and limitations.
WARNING: Once a license is assigned to a database, it is non-transferable. Before purchasing and applying a licensing for any of your Offline or Production databases, we highly recommend mounting/connecting to your Exchange databases while in Try-Before-You-Buy DEMO MODE to ensure the database is accessible and the desired information is available. If you have issues with mounting or connecting to a database, please check the DigiScope knowledge base for potential resolutions. If the issue persists please open a support case and we will be happy to assist you free of charge to ensure your databases are accessible before purchasing a license
NOTE: To open 64-bit Offline Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 or 2019 databases, you must install DigiScope on a 64-bit operating system.
While DigiScope is in Try-Before-You-Buy DEMO MODE you will have unlimited access to all features and capabilities against any of the Sample Exchange Databases included as part of the product installation. Sample databases are located in the \Program Files\Lucid8\DigiScope\Demo directory.
When the DigiScope EDB management tool is in Try-Before-You-Buy DEMO MODE limited access, restore, export and search functionality are available for any unlicensed offline Exchange databases or online production Exchange servers. While in Try-Before-You-Buy DEMO MODE:
You are permitted to:
Browse, Search, and View all the basic information within a mailbox as well as any folder, message, fields/columns of data, such as, subject, from, to, date sent and received, etc.
Perform Test Export and Test Restore operations against any offline Exchange databases or On-Premises Production Exchange servers or Exchange Online O365 Tenants. These test operations will be automatically restricted to act on only 5 items per-folder of DigiScope's choosing. (User-defined Item Filters will be ignored when DigiScope goes to select these items.)
Repair Damaged Exchange Databases (EDB) and PST files so that they can be mounted within DigiScope.
You are NOT permitted to:
Fully Export. (See the Test Export note above.)
Fully Restore all data. (See the Test Restore note above.)
View full details of items.
Delete items.
Purge items.
