The DEMO license for the DigiScope EDB management tool is locked to a specific machine for the duration of the 30-day trial period and has the following capabilities and limitations.
WARNING: Once a license is assigned to a database, it is non-transferable. So before licensing any Offline or Production databases, we highly recommend requesting a DEMO license to test accessing the Exchange databases to ensure the desired messaging information can be accessed.
NOTE: To open 64-bit Offline Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016 databases, you must install DigiScope® on a 64-bit operating system.
The DigiScope® DEMO license provides 30-day unlimited access to all features and capabilities against any of the Sample Exchange Databases included as part of the product installation. Sample databases are located in the \Program Files\Lucid8\DigiScope\Demo directory.
The DigiScope® EDB management tool DEMO license provides limited read-only access and basic search functionality for any of your unlicensed offline Exchange databases or online production Exchange servers. With the DEMO License you:
Are permitted to:
Browse, Search, and View all the basic information about a mailbox as well as any message, i.e. subject, from, to, date sent and received, etc.
Perform Test Export and Test Restore operations against any offline Exchange databases or online Production Exchange servers. These test operations will be automatically restricted to act on only 5 items per-folder of DigiScope's choosing. (User-defined Item Filters will be ignored when DigiScope goes to select these items.)
Repair Damaged Exchange Databases (EDB) and PST files so that they can be mounted within DigiScope®.
Are NOT permitted to:
Fully Export. (See the Test Export note above.)
Fully Restore all data. (See the Test Restore note above.)

NOTE: You can use the DEMO license on a machine for 30-day from the request date. After the 30-day trial period, . You can obtain another 30 day DEMO or a full functionality after purchasing a Project Based, Perpetual or Universal license.
