Notification Templates are largely defined by two features: Events and Notification Variables.
Events are the defined conditions that can trigger an e-mail notification. Each template is for a particular event, and the selection of event can determine what information will be available to the notification and who the recipients can be. There are seven possible events to choose from.
Notification Variables are special placeholders in the template that will be filled in with details about the actual maintenance job when the notification is sent.
