Lucid8 offers the following three types of licenses for DigiScope:
NOTE: In order to request a license for a specific database you must have the store or database listed in the DigiScope offline or production tree
Click Tools>Licensing>Offline or Production>Request.

The User Information dialog appears. If available the user and company information are automatically populated, otherwise you must enter information manually. Please verify the information is correct (required fields are bold, incomplete fields are red) and then click Next.

NOTE: This information will be used during license generation. Therefore, ensure that you have entered the correct e-mail address for the person receiving the DigiScope license.
The Machine Information dialog appears. Confirm the information and note that it will be sent to Lucid8 to process the license request. Click Next.

Specify the type of license: Demo, Universal, or Specific. Click Next.

NOTE: The license request information will automatically be sent to Lucid8 for processing. You can also select to print the information and fax it or save it as an XML file to then email to Lucid8.

The confirmation dialog appears. Lucid8 processes the license request and sends the license to the e-mail address entered in step 3.

NOTE: You can use the demo license on a machine for only one, 30-day trial period. After the 30-day trial period, DigiScope will no longer function. All future demo licenses issued to previously demo-licensed servers will not function. To obtain unlimited functionality, purchase and install a universal license.
