After you have requested a demo license or purchased and requested a universal or specific DigiScope license, Lucid8's Licensing Department generates and sends the license to the e-mail address provided during the Request License process. Use the following steps to install the license after receiving it.
NOTE: If you have completed the purchase and license request process and have not received the DigiScope License within 24 hours, contact CustomerService@Lucid8.com.
NOTE: While the majority of examples/graphics and instructions within this documentation show tasks/actions executed from "The Menu Bar", other Tasks/Action Options such as utilizing a Right-Click are available as well.
Click Tools>Licensing>Offline or Production>Install.

The End-User License Agreement (EULA) dialog appears.

NOTE: Scroll to the end of the License Agreement to activate the acceptance check box.
Read the entire EULA using the scroll bar. If you agree with the terms, select I have read the License Agreement and Accept the terms defined therein. Click Yes, I Agree. The Install DigiScope License browse dialog appears.

Browse to the location of the license file.
Select the license file that Lucid8 sent to you and click Open to install the license.
The installation verification dialog displays. Click OK to close the dialog and return the DigiScope console.

NOTE: After the license is installed, the Install License icon changes to a Licensing button that when clicked opens a drop-down menu. The license information is now displayed in the status strip at the bottom of the console.
To verify the license, continue to Verifying License Details.
NOTE: If a license fails to install, a dialog appears explaining the reason for the failure. If you cannot install the license after reviewing the reason for failure, refer to Troubleshooting Licensing Issues.
