Requesting a Demo License

If you would like to evaluate a copy of DigiVault before purchasing a full license, request a 30-day demo license using the following steps.

To request a demo license

  1. From the Server List for Selected Group section of the ESP console, right-click the ESP DigiVault agent located under the server you want to license.

  2. From the menu, select Licensing>Request License. The License Request wizard begins.

NOTE: For detailed information about how to get to the Licensing menu options, refer to Accessing the License Options List.

  1. Click Next. The User Information dialog appears.

  1. Enter the information in all required fields and click Next. The Server Information dialog appears.

NOTE: This information will be used during license generation. Therefore, ensure that you have entered the correct e-mail address for the person receiving the DigiVault license.

  1. Enter the information requested in the Server Information dialog. Transmit this information to Lucid8 to generate a license.

  2. Click Next. The License Type dialog appears.  

  1. Select the Demo option and click Next. The License Transmittal dialog appears.   

  2. Select one of the following transmittal methods:

    1. The default selection automatically e-mails the license request information to the Lucid8 Licensing department.

    2. The print option allows you to print the request and fax the information to the Lucid8 Licensing department.

    3. The save option creates a custom .XML file that can be e-mailed to DigiVaultLicReq@Lucid8.com.

  1.   Click Next. The Thank You dialog appears.

  1. Click Finish to complete the Request License process.

  2. After Lucid8 receives and reviews the license request, Lucid8 will generate and e-mail a license to the address provided in the User Information dialog.

NOTE: You can use the demo license on a server for only one, 30-day trial period. After the 30-day trial period, DigiVault will no longer function. All future demo licenses issued to previously demo-licensed servers will not function. To obtain unlimited functionality, purchase and apply a full license.
