What are the system requirements of DigiScope®?

DigiScope® is designed to run on a Windows workstation and uses native Microsoft Messaging APIs (MAPI) to communicate with online Exchange Servers, ensuring reliable and consistent operation of your server. To work with offline Exchange stores it requires that you have one time access to an active Exchange Server of the same version for initial setup. Both Online and Offline stores require Outlook to be installed or one time access to a machine with the correct version of Outlook installed for initial setup. In order to effectively use this software, the following system requirements apply:

  • Windows XP or Windows 2000, 2003 Server
  • Microsoft® Outlook® 2000 or later or access to a machine with Outlook installed.
  • Intel® Pentium®-class processor.
  • Required RAM: 256 MB Minimum.
  • 25 MB of free hard disk space for installation (more disk space will be needed for processing EDB, STM and Log files)
  • Monitor with 800 x 600 or higher screen resolution.
NOTE: DigiScope® supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, 2003, and 2007.
