May I transfer a license between stores, workstations or servers?
No, once a "Per Store" license is applied to a store or a "Per Seat" Duration license is applied to machine it is locked to the specific store or machine and may not be transferred, migrated, or used on any other information store or machine.
There is a one time exception for "Perpetual Licensing" customers that upgrade to Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010.
NOTE: This policy ONLY applies to customers that have purchased DigiScope PERPETUAL licenses with unexpired and paid for maintenance agreements. DigiScope Project Based Licenses are not transferable under any circumstances.
What if we are going to upgrade to Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010, can we transfer previously licensed stores?
