Licenses are offered on a per-server basis and must be purchased for a number of mailboxes that is equal to or greater than the number of mailboxes on the server being licensed.

Example: If a server has a total of 178 mailboxes homed on all the available stores, you must purchase a 250 mailbox license. The server will then be licensed to run as many times as desired as long as the mailbox count on the licensed server does not exceed the mailbox license limit.
