Who are the competitors to GOexchange?
Currently
there are no other products on the market that compete with GOexchange.
We
actually spoke with a company that used to offer the ability run a simple
Exchange defragmentation command i.e. ESEutil /d from within the GUI of
their main product
however this was removed after several client databases were
rendered inoperable. When pressed further about this they admitted
that the issue was just too complicated to deal with based on the
available expertise within their firm and focus of their anchor product.
Exchange Information Stores are complex databases that need specific
expert care to
achieve their full potential. Maintaining these databases is
not a task to be taken lightly.
In addition the playing field is in
constant motion because as the Exchange matures with the release of new
version versions and patches the processes to maintain the databases
change as well.
It's important to
understand that GOexchange is much more then a defragmentation tool.
GOexchange works with expert knowledge and consistency at the database
level. GOexchange can repair errors and warnings, fix minor
inconsistencies and consolidate white space, rebuild the database
itself, and ensure that group collaboration objects like mail, tasks, calendar
and other items are optimized and in tact.
