What does GOexchange® do?

GOexchange is an automated maintenance tool for Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003, and 2007. GOexchange improves system performance by fixing index pointers, errors, inconsistencies and corrupted items while reducing the average message store by 30-55% when first implemented and saves an additional 5-15% when run thereafter. This dramatically reduces future storage requirements and in turn increases system responsiveness, uptime and reliability. GOexchange automatically performs the following actions:

  • Checks Exchange databases for consistency
  • Automates Backup Support for CA ARCserve, CA BrightStor, CommVault Galaxy, Veritas Backup Exec, Veritas NetBackup, UltraBac and more.
  • Repairs & checks public and private information stores
  • Checks messages, attachments, folders and more for consistency
  • Defragments the directory, public and private databases
  • Deletes corrupted objects
  • Fixes corrupt Message Transfer Agent (MTA)
  • Provides alert notification via e-mail or pager
  • Provides full process tracking as well as summary and detail reporting
