The average message store is reduced and or compacted by 30-55% when GOexchange is first implemented. The average savings on subsequent maintenance is between 5-20%.  Running GOexchange on a regular basis will dramatically reduce future storage requirements and in turn increases system responsiveness, uptime and reliability.

The actual percentage depends on the following factors;

• How often you run GOexchange
• How well Exchange users keep their private mailboxes like their Sent Items and Deleted Items folders cleaned up.
• How often you cleanup and maintain the public folders
