DigiScope - eDiscovery and Recovery for Microsoft Exchange Licensing 

DigiScope can be used in a variety of different scenarios & environments, therefore, we provide four (4) different licensing options to meet your specific needs. Click on the tabs below to learn more about each of the available licensing options.

"Perpetual Per-Store" Licensing

Perpetual Per-Store licensing provides organizations continuous/perpetual access to one or more Offline or Online Exchange Mailbox or Public Folder databases, commonly referred to as Information Stores or *.EDB files. Each license provides access to the Licensed “Store” and any of its backup copies.

• Once a license is assigned to a Store it is non-transferable, unless you are Upgrading to Exchange Server 2007/2010.
• Each Licensed Store operates without limitation on the number of mailboxes or items.
• License packs may be allocated across multiple servers that are within the same organization.
• You may license "Individual" or "All" Information Stores / Databases within your organization.
• TIP: While its possible to mix and match store packs to meet your licensing needs, sometimes its beneficial to purchase the next level up. Example: If you want to license 20 stores, it's more cost effect to purchase a 25 store license pack rather than a 16 pack and 4 pack.

NOTE: Purchase of a 1, 2, or 3 year Support & Maintenance Plan is required for all Perpetual DigiScope licenses.

NOTE: If you require the ability to search across multiple PSTs you must purchase the "Unlimited PST Search/Discovery License".

"Universal - Unlimited Database" License

The Universal "Unlimited Database" License allows companies to use DigiScope on a single machine for one (1) Year without any limitations in regard to the number of Offline or Production Databases / Information Stores, PST files or the Domain they are located within.

• The Universal License is LOCKED to a Specific Machine for the term of the one (1) Year license.
• Unexpired Universal Licenses may be Revoked/Transferred to an alternate machine.
• The License "Start-Date" begins at the date of purchase and when the "End-Date or Term-Limit" is reached the license expires.

NOTE: Universal Licenses Include Support & Maintenance for the term of the license.

"DPM Server - Limited Feature" License

While working with Exchange Administrators that used Microsoft's Data Protection Manager (DPM) we determined a need for balance between cost vs. features to create the "DPM Server - Limited Feature License". Based upon that work the pricing, features & restrictions were adjusted as outlined below.

• DigiScope MUST be installed on and used from the Microsoft DPM Server.
• You may license "Individual" or "All" DPM Protected Exchange Servers within your organization.
• All Information Stores/Databases that are part of the Server(s) named within the "DPM Server - Limited Feature License" are covered/included under the license, provided that they are extracted by DigiScope from the DPM Server.

LICENSE RESTRICTIONS - This license DOES NOT provide the ability to Export, Delete or Purge ANY information from Production Information Stores.
