Step 1 - Add The Offline Exchange Database(s) - Utilize the Source File Wizard to add Offline Exchange Database (EDB, LOG & STM) files.
Point directly to the Exchange EDB Database files or select one of the supported third party storage platforms. Make your selection and DigiScope extracts the required files and adds the Exchange Information Store / Database to the offline source management pane.
Step 2 - Request EDB Repair - Right click the dismounted Exchange Database and Select Repair EDB.

While DigiScope was not designed as an Exchange Backup Solution, it can be used to backup the contents of Exchange Server Mailboxes and Public Folders to individual PST files that can then be reviewed, transported, used for data migration, or archived to tape. DigiScope Migration Capabilities
Brick-level backups and other email migration solutions require old and new
servers to be online in order to perform any type of migration. DigiScope
eliminates this requirement allowing the complete migration of all Mailbox and
Public Folder data into
an alternate Exchange Server's Information Store without having to bring the old
server online with the new server.
As an Exchange server is taken out of service,
DigiScope can be used to copy all data from the Old Exchange Server's un-mounted Exchange
Mailbox or Public Folder Information Stores (EDB files) to the New Exchange server.
NOTE: During the recovery/restore process DigiScope copies the user's previously designated permissions from the old mailbox to the new mailbox.

"One Sunday I was migrating a customer from Windows 2003 SBS with Exchange to Windows 2008 R2 hosting an Exchange 2010 installation. The Migration went OK, but when I tried to move the SBS out of the domain, the whole Domain started throwing errors and the new exchange 2010 crashed on me.
