Fast and Flexible High Performance SinglePass VSS Technology
Exchange administrators are looking for a better way to Backup and Recover the Microsoft Exchange messaging data that their company depends on. To meet this demand Lucid8 developed "Exchange Protection Manager" (EPM) a high performance, cost-effective and easy to use VSS SinglePass™ “Backup” and "Granular Recovery” product for Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2007 or 2003.
Other solutions require two backups (Database & Mailbox/Brick Level) or special "Granular Recovery Technology-Enabled (GRT) Backups" in order to provide database, mailbox and item-level recovery, creating unnecessary complexity, overhead, longer backup windows and increased storage requirements.
Lucid8's Exchange Protection Manager has revolutionized Exchange data protection by providing granular recovery of mailboxes, folders or any individual items in seconds direct from a SinglePass™ (Database only) backup. We achieved this by utilizing Microsoft Exchange VSS backup technology along with Lucid8's DigiScope EDB-API enabling EPM to open Exchange Database files (EDB) and then granularly restore data from any EPM Recovery Point.
