To open offline Exchange database (EDB) files, DigiScope® requires DLLs from an Microsoft Exchange server that matches the version of the database. The Missing Exchange DLLs page of the File Wizard will help you locate and retrieve these DLLs from your environment.
This page of the File Wizard will be displayed if:
This is the first time you have added an Exchange database (EDB) file of a specific version of Exchange
Any required Exchange files are missing.
NOTE: If desired Lucid8 Support can assist with obtaining the required files.
Check the I give permission to... box.
Enter the name or IP address of a machine that has the specified version of Exchange installed.
Click the Retrieve menu button and then select ...
Retrieve Files Automatically to have the wizard attempt to locate the necessary files itself on the target machine; or ...
Browse Machine / Network for Files to have a browse dialog displayed in which you can manually guide DigiScope to the location of the necessary files.
Once all listed files are shown as having been successfully retrieved, click the Next > button to continue with the wizard.
