Creating an Office 365 Global Admin Account

In order for DigiScope to be able to connect to your Office 365 | Exchange Online accounts, it needs to be given the logon (username and password) of an account within your organization that has the "Global Admin" role.  While you may use an existing Global Admin for this, we recommend creating a new "DSAdmin" Global Admin account.

To create a new Office 365 administrative account for use with DigiScope:
  1. In your web browser, go to https://login.microsoftonline.com/ and log in on with an existing Global Admin account.

(The account that was created when Office 365 was initially purchased should have automatically been made a Global Admin.)

  2. Go to the Admin section.

You should now be able to use this account when connecting to Office 365 | Exchange Online in DigiScope.
