How Do I Create a Job?

To create a new job:

1. Select the desired GOexchange server in the Server List The top-most pane of the GOexchange Client, listing all of the known GOexchange servers..

2. Either:

   1. Select the Specifications tab in the Details Pane The bottom pane of the GOexchange Client Console. and click New... in the toolbar; or...

   2. In the Server menu, select New Maintenance -> Job Specification... .

3. The New Job Specification wizard will open and will take you through the following pages to define a new specification:

   • Action

   • Notifications

   • Custom Processes

   • Backup   (only available for certain job scripts)

4. When you complete the last page, click Finish.
